Anastasiia Voronina: Wellness Today Is an Investment in Quality of Life
The wellness industry is evolving alongside the way people live today. Amid demanding schedules, a constant flow of information, and limited time, spas are increasingly focused on restorative experiences, personalized service, and a more mindful approach to physical and emotional well-being.
We spoke with Anastasiia Voronina, a representative of Elixir Spa Deluxe Fairmont, about how wellness culture is evolving, what guests now expect from a premium spa experience, and how the very definition of luxury is changing.

The wellness industry is undergoing a global transformation. What role do you see the modern spa playing in the life of someone navigating constant stress and demanding schedules?
The modern spa has long moved beyond traditional body treatments and beauty rituals. With constant stress, information overload, and the fast pace of everyday life, people are increasingly looking for a place where they can recharge, turn their attention inward, and restore a sense of balance.
That is why a holistic approach matters so much today. Guests are looking for more than an individual treatment; they want a thoughtfully designed experience that combines expert treatments, wellness practices, elements of mindfulness, and personalized service.
I see this as one of the defining trends in the wellness industry: people are becoming more attentive to their physical and emotional well-being and increasingly view self-care as an essential part of their quality of life. Spas are responding by creating environments where guests can restore their energy and, at least for a while, step away from the pressure to remain constantly productive.
This is why the role of wellness will continue to grow. Making time to recharge regularly is gradually becoming part of a more mindful approach to personal health and the prevention of emotional burnout.

What defines the concept of Elixir Spa Deluxe Fairmont today, and what principles shape the experience you want to create for your guests?
For me, Elixir Spa Deluxe Fairmont is a place of harmony within the energy of a dynamic city—a space where people can slow down, restore their energy, and make time for themselves.
It is essential to us that the spa be experienced as a cohesive whole. Every detail matters: the atmosphere, the interiors, the quality of the treatments, the expertise of our specialists, the service, and the way a guest feels throughout the entire visit.
At the same time, beauty remains an important part of our concept. We offer a comprehensive range of face and body treatments, combining modern technologies, professional expertise, and an individualized approach. Personalization has become especially important in the premium segment: people expect solutions tailored to their specific needs and lifestyles.
I also believe our understanding of luxury itself has changed. Today, luxury is increasingly associated with having the freedom to choose how you spend your time, being able to recharge, and receiving high-quality care in a comfortable environment. This is the philosophy we seek to develop at Elixir Spa Deluxe Fairmont.
For us, it is important that guests leave seeing results while also feeling a meaningful shift in how they feel—a greater sense of calm, confidence, and energy.

What would you say to a woman who has long wanted to make time for herself but keeps putting it off “until later”?
We are accustomed to postponing self-care when work, family, deadlines, and dozens of everyday responsibilities take over. Yet restoration directly affects how we feel, how we look, and how well we manage the demands of daily life.
Spa and beauty treatments can deliver fairly immediate, noticeable results. After a treatment, you begin to see a visible difference, accumulated fatigue starts to ease, the body relaxes, and you feel a renewed sense of energy and inner balance.
That is why I would advise against waiting for a special occasion. Regular self-care helps us maintain our energy and recover before exhaustion begins to build.
Sometimes, just a few hours devoted entirely to yourself can be enough to return to your usual rhythm feeling completely different. For the modern woman, making time for herself is an investment in quality of life, just like health, education, or professional development.
