On March 4 in Athens (Greece) the charity dinner was organised by the head of the “Union of Television and Film Industry Entrepreneurs” Artem Koliubaiev and volunteers Sargis Sargsyan and Elvira Gavrilova. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Hellenic Republic Serhiy Shutenko supported the evening with his presence.

TV presenter Kateryna Osadcha, producer Yuryi Gorbunov and singers Oleksandr Ponomariov and Dzidzio held the charity evening in Athens. Greek singers Eirini Papadopoulou and Christos Menidiatis joined them.

The event in support of Ukraine helped raise a considerable amount for the purchase of an ambulance.

During the charity event, which Artem Koliubaiev, Sargis Sargsyan and Elvira Gavrilova organised, Dzidzio and Oleksandr Ponomariov presented their new song “Hey, Falcons!”. An auction was also held.

The auction featured valuable lots: the flag of Ukraine signed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny, provided by Roman Bochkala, a Ukrainian military correspondent and public figure; gloves of the Klitschko brothers; gloves with Oleksandr Usyk’s autograph; sweatshirts from the Ukrainian brand Kate Lab; art objects from the “International Parliament of Mothers”; the ball and T-shirt from the National Football Team of Ukraine with the autographs of legendary Dynamo Kyiv players — Oleg Protasov, Oleksiy Mykhailichenko, Dmytro Demyanenko; lots from HRH Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia.

In total, during the charity evening, more than 1.7 million hryvnias were collected.

Organisators of the evening Sargis Sargsyan and Elvira Gavrilova shared that they had a lot of difficulties while organising the event but God sent them people who helped them.

Sargis Sargsyan and Elvira Gavrilova said: “We would like to express our gratitude to the public organization “Ukrainians in Greece”, the representative of the “Battalion Volunteer” foundation Oleksandr Prykhodchenko, the dentist Khrystyna Medynska, the director of the company “VASH CENTER” Anatoly Kuchirko, the girls from Candy Cat, the deputy head of the United Ukrainian diaspora in Greece Oksana Koziy.”

A lot of guests came to the event. Among them, there were representatives of the Embassies of different European countries to the Hellenic Republic.

We cannot help but mention incredible decoration on the tables during the charity evening. You could see chernozem and sunflowers which are true symbols of Ukraine.
