How to balance creativity and business

Sviatoslav Lukynych, a renowned musician and founder of the PR & Media Marketing agency “The Power,” shares his reflections on the summer of 2024, talks about new challenges and achievements, and discusses his recent appointment as the producer of a Ukrainian radio station in the USA. In this interview, he reveals the secrets of his multifaceted career and shares his plans for the future.

September is here, the time to reflect on the past summer. How was your summer? Did you manage to rest and recharge before the active autumn season?

My summer was incredible, just like every other season. I didn’t go on a typical vacation because I didn’t feel the need to rest this year. It’s currently a particularly active period in terms of creativity and development. I’m afraid that taking a break could disrupt this level of productivity. I’m a fan of my work, which brings me immense satisfaction, so I don’t feel exhausted. The autumn promises to be truly fruitful: this summer has expanded my professional horizon by 360 degrees, so I believe my new projects will be a pleasant surprise for my audience.

Were there any significant moments or achievements that you are particularly proud of?

Yes, I’m very proud that in 2024, I launched my PR & Media Marketing agency, “The Power.” This project is very important to me, with the main goal being to help ambitious people become the best version of themselves. The agency is still very young and just beginning to achieve its goals, but I already have a lot to be proud of. This brings me a lot of satisfaction. Collaborating with globally recognized international companies and projects is an invaluable experience and an absolute inspiration for both our clients and my team.

What are your plans and goals for the rest of 2024, in terms of personal growth and business development?

My focus is solely on scaling and, of course, learning. The world never sleeps; it constantly progresses and moves forward, especially in the USA. When you start to see and understand the pace of global progress, it almost feels like a pity to spend 8 hours sleeping — you want to accomplish everything.

You are currently working on a new song and music video. Can you tell us more about it? What is the song about, and what can you share about the video?

Yes, that’s correct. My team and I are currently working hard on the upcoming release of the single “Once.” It’s a light and romantic song about two people whose paths have diverged, but one heart out of the two will always look back and possibly regret the past. I truly hope that this delicate philosophy will resonate with Ukrainians, as many of us have had such experiences. At the same time, the song is warm and romantic. We filmed the music video for the single in the romantic and authentic Venice, in collaboration with Pastell Production. The lead role is played by the talented Ukrainian actress, model, and TV host Viktoriya Rosutchan. I hope to delight listeners with this new release this autumn.

Is your professional life currently limited to just music, or are there other projects you can share with us?

No, my life has never been limited to just music. Music is always in my heart and at the forefront. But, as I mentioned earlier, I love to learn and push beyond accepted boundaries. So, right now, my life actively combines being a musician, CEO of a PR agency, and producer of URC Radio Chicago. This is exclusive news for you, as I’m announcing it publicly for the first time. At the end of the summer, I received an offer to lead a Ukrainian radio station in the USA, and I decided that I needed this new experience. So, very soon, we’ll be announcing new and exciting projects.

What has been the biggest challenge you’ve set for yourself recently? Tell us about this experience.

The biggest challenge has been the ability to combine three very important branches of professional life: music, the PR agency, and the radio station. It’s all very demanding and incredibly exciting. However, it’s a significant challenge and a departure from my comfort zone, which strongly motivates me. I love setting challenges for myself; my entire life has been a conflict between “Impossible” and “that word doesn’t exist in my vocabulary”.
