Yesterday, November 15, the population of the planet Earth reached eight billion people – this was reported by the UN on the official website.

This figure was a new record, and the reason for such a large population, experts called an increase in life expectancy due to high-quality medicine, nutrition and great attention to personal hygiene.

It is predicted that the new record is still 15 years old, as the population growth rate is still slowing down. A new record – nine billion – should be expected in 2037.
