Nicole Kidman donates $100,000 by purchasing colleague’s hat
Nicole Kidman visited the show The Music Man on Broadway, which starred Hugh Jackman. When it ended, the actress donated $100,000 (six million rubles) to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (an organization that raises funds to fight AIDS).
Nicole donated this amount, betting on the hat in which Hugh performed on stage. “I love you, I love Broadway and I love what they do, Broadway Cares,” she said in a video that a fan in attendance posted on Twitter.
She also made it clear that the show was “extraordinary” before leaving the stage with her purchased hat on her head.
“I have known Nicole for almost 30 years. I’ve worked with her, I can tell you it’s not surprising. She is one of the most generous souls I know,” said Hugh Jackman after such a generous donation to Nicole.
