Buckingham Palace plans to change the title of Queen Consort Camilla Parker Bowles.

It is reported that at the royal court they hope that by the coronation of the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II, society will get used to the fact that his wife will become just a queen, and her title will lose the “consort” part.

All the wives of British kings in the modern history of the monarchy had a simplified title, in particular the Queen Mother, Mary and Alexandra.
